St. Fallen’s debut live performance

FB Event Page – Book Tickets Online

This Saturday is May Day, and also marks the first time I’ll be performing on stage, at a metal gig. A Black Metal gig, to be precise. Spleen Saint, Funeral In Heaven, Raaksha, Unholy Sermon, Dishti, Pariah Demise, Dying Declaration, Falcon Cry, and Infernal will all be playing that day. The gig is set to start at 2pm, but considering sound checks and all it should probably kick off at 3pm.

If you’ve liked any of the music I’ve put up on this blog, then you might just like what I have in line for the performance. It’ll be my first time playing among proper bands, so I’m quite nervous, and also quite excited. Funeral In Heaven and Spleen Saint are two of my fave local bands, and Infernal (trash metal band from Kandy) seems to be quite promising as well.

I’ll be opening the show, so try to be there on time if you want to catch my set. I know it’s May Day and getting there might not be as easy as on most days, but it would mean a lot to see at least some of you guys there. Hopefully I’ll be able to get someone to record it, for those of you who aren’t in the country, or can’t be bothered coming. : P

Here’s some samples of the other bands playing that day:

Spleen Saint – Postmortem Lover (MySpace)

Funeral In Heaven – Malediction Of Veracity (MySpace)

Unholy Sermon – Personifying Procrastination (MySpace)

Pariah Demise – Land Of Sorrow (MySpace)

Infernal – Pangs Of Conscience (listen to this one!!!)

and uh…

you should know what my stuff is going to sound like by now : P
